I was born in London, UK and raised on the island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean, performing at a very young age in both English and Greek community theater. Once I realized that I caught the acting bug, I decided to fly 7000 miles away from home to enroll at the American Academy of Dramatic arts. I learned styles and period dances, Voice and Speech, Vocal Productions and Acting techniques, mainly Meisner and Uta Hagen. During the last 4 years in Los Angeles, I have booked lead and supporting roles in indie films, short films and music videos. I've also had the chance to work behind the camera as a director, producer and script supervisor.
Due to Covid, I returned back home and started teaching aspiring young actors that have the same dreams I had. I taught Acting (mainly Uta Hagen technique), Audition Technique, Dialects and more. One of my other passions aside from Acting is Dialects, especially British(RP), New York, Southern and General American. While teaching, I have booked guest roles on Cypriot TV and commercials, while also pre-producing my next film with director Mason Greer. I have now returned to the US, ready to start a new journey in my acting career on the east coast, while meeting new talented people along the way!

I have extensive experience in working with actors of all ages, and am currently freelancing in Greensboro, NC. I have my MFA in Acting and Directing from UNC Greensboro, and also am a certified Meisner teacher (obtaining my certification from working with master teacher Larry Silverberg.) Josie grew up in a small town in North Carolina and started working in the theater at a young age. After college, her continuing interest in acting led her to be accepted into the Meisner Training Program at the William Esper Studio in NYC.
In 2011, she won the Best Actress award in the NYC 24 Hour film race for her work on The Day. She also starred opposite Eric Roberts in the indie film Janie Charismanic, which won her a best actress award at the Silent River Film Festival in Irvine, CA.
She lived and worked in NYC as a professional actor and continued to sing, performing as a back-up vocalist in numbers bands and alongside several singer songwriters, including Laura MacLean.
She has a MFA in Acting from UNC Greensboro and continues to work professionally as an actor, singer and teacher.

I am so thrilled to be part of the Actors Resource team! I have worked as an actor / director / stage combatant at places such as the Orlando Shakespeare Theater, The Lost Colony, Horn in the West and The Carolina Ballet as well as doing an independent film or two. I've been coaching actors' auditions for several years as well as editing reels and creating websites for actors who are on a budget and have always believed these services should be easily accessible and affordable for burgeoning artists. As the self-tape has become more of a staple for film, television and even theater auditions, I've come to appreciate the art of the self-tape and hope to help you in any way that I can.

I have over four years of training in Meisner Method Acting at Actors Group in Winston-Salem and have ongoing instruction with Actors Spark in Atlanta; which focuses on Auditions by learning from Casting Directors, Agents, and Coaches. I do my own self-tapes including all of the video and, if needed, audio editing. Over the last one and a half years, I have learned how to record auditions via ZOOM and maintain good sound quality. Being well prepared before taping an audition reduces both your takes needed and the risk of wearing out your preparation.
Tammy is also a trained Voiceover Actor
