One of the most important "must-have" tools for any young actor is a great-looking, professionally produced demo reel that shows off your child's skills and represents their best work. In fact, having a reel can actually move your child's profile ahead of actors without one when casting directors review submissions! It also helps to have one for personal branding or if you're looking for new representation!
But it can be tough if you're still just getting started or haven't yet booked much professional work....
OUR YOUNG ACTORS DEMO REEL CLINIC is the answer!
We've teamed up with Greensboro-based CORACLE STUDIO for a 1-DAY OPPORTUNITY to help get you started on a new demo reel or update the one you already have.
You'll get:
- PHONE CONSULTATION to discuss your child's scene(s) and needs for the shoot
- FULL ON-SET EXPERIENCE with an on-set professional director/cinematographer and production crew; One hour of shooting time per scene; Your child will have an assigned call time between 9am and 5pm.
- CHOICES FOR A COMPELLING 1-2 MINUTE ORIGINAL SCENE shot on a Black Magic Pocket 6k Camera
- ON-SET COACHING from an experienced television and film actor to help with your child's performance
- MAKE-UP -An experienced make-up artist will be available to make sure your child looks great before shooting (30 minutes for wardrobe check* and initial makeup plus touch-ups as needed)
- A SCENE PARTNER - both with coverage, to help make scenes look authentic, with another child or an adult actor
- POST PRODUCTION - including color correction, music selection, sound editing & sweetening to give your scene a polished, professional look and feel
- THE END RESULT - Boost or jump-start your child's acting career with "episodic quality" footage to show agents, casting directors & producers

Wardrobe
Small props (ie: cell phones, toys, etc.) if applicable
Your child will also have the chance to learn:
-Professional set protocol
-How to adjust their performance to match the scene and the camera angle

Director/Cinematographer - Filming on Location
Jacob has been working in the film industry for more than 10 years. He has worked in front of and behind the camera in many different capacities including that of Actor, Director, Editor, and Writer. He is known for his work on A Thousand Acres, Wolf and The Grave Caller. He will be shooting footage for this project on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro.
Scene / On-Set Acting Coach
With over 20 years in front and behind the camera, Enya is a professional working television & film actress, reporter, television spokesperson and voiceover artist best known for her series regular role on UPN’s Malcolm and Eddie and as one of the stars of the Syfy Channel series Black Scorpion. She has guest-starred on countless television series including The Resident, Bluff City Law, Homeland, Queen Sugar, Rules of Engagement, The Sopranos, The Game and Ally McBeal and was a model for the original hit game show Deal or No Deal. She currently has a recurring role on Paramount Television's The Long Slow Exhale with her latest film project, Marbles and Bullets, scheduled to premier next year.
